Correction: In the front matter pf the book, the authors say the entire book is CC. (The preview on Amazon specifically said that only the intro was CC.)

Doug,
Nicely done book.
The link you sent provides a free Kindle version. The authors say the intro is under Creative Commons. Another source, www.dbooks.org, says the entire book is under Creative Commons, and that source has the PDF available for download.
Good stuff.

-All,    Elements of Robotics by Mordechai Ben-Ari (Author) and Francesco Mondada (Author) is a good introduction to basic robotic concepts. It is free on Amazon. I bring it up because there are chapters on mapping, SLAM, and path planning. Topics that came up in last week's RBNV. The book covers all the basic concepts of robotics, as well as, topics like image processing, and neural networks. Concepts are presented in clear and simple language with examples.  The book is well worth picking up and reading. Best of all it is FREE.
