 (Author) is a good introduction to basic robotic concepts. It is free on
Amazon. I bring it up because there are chapters on mapping, SLAM, and path
planning. Topics that came up in last week's RBNV. The book covers all the
basic concepts of robotics, as well as, topics like image processing, and
neural networks. Concepts are presented in clear and simple language with
examples.  The book is well worth picking up and reading. Best of all it is
FREE.
