[Dprglist] Tanner Electronics Closing

The news for last few months was they were searching for a place to move to as they could not renew the lease for some reason. I never dug in but figured it was  lease was going to cost more to renew.

I know they tried to find a new spot from what we talked about. Guess it didn’t work out.

You hear about the internet enabling the ‘long tail’ of retail sales  (things of interest only to limited set of buyers) but this place was different.

I often went in and found something I couldn’t live without <g>  while wandering the aisles.

Guess I won’t have that happen as much anymore.

I was on the side that thought buying them out would be great but I bet they are losing the space.

Yep.  All my robots are built from Tanner's parts.   First Mike's Hobby, then this.
