I was looking for a map of prevailing winds in Dallas while designing a mast for a GPS base-station antenna and weather station combo. I stumbled across this map of current wind conditions. Just found it very beautiful/compelling and decided to share:

ps. I subsequently found a wind rose plot for Ft. Worth that gave me the answer I needed and it was the expected due South as the highest frequency direction.
