As Chris said, with motor drivers and sensors you should be able to build a powerful robot. The problem I always have is breaking the pins out with enough power and ground pins for all the non-NUCLEO stuff. It helps that the Nucleo form factor includes an Arduino UNO pin footprint. This allows the use of an Arduino UNO sensor shield, like this https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01MXRXCAW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details.<span style="color:rgb(15,17,17);font-family:"Amazon Ember",Arial,sans-serif;font-size:14px"> This shield doesn't break out all the pins, but does provide plenty of power and ground pins that can be used with the ones it breaks out, with some for the pins that are not broken out. It is also very cheap. An alternative is a board laid out by club member Ron Grant. Ron's board requires some more work on your part, but breaks out all the pins. It is much larger than the UNO sensor shield, but has some nice features. Yup. It's not a light decision to go down the road to high precision GPS.
The required commitment in time is even more than the 10X dollar cost.
Gotta have a compelling requirement.
