<p>Seems like maybe the best bet at this point is for Doug (or
whoever does that) to edit the description to say something like <br>

<p>"David offers the following correction for the code described on
slide so-and-so at such-and-such time in the video: <br>
</p>
<p> left_inches = read_left_encoder() / LEFT_CLICKS_PER_INCH</p>
<p> right_inches = read_right_encoder() / RIGHT_CLICKS_PER_INCH</p>
<p>where read left and right encoder return the derivative of the
accumulated encoder counts, i.e., the number of counts since the

<p>Doug I can send you such a text if that would be copasetic. <br>

<div>Hey David,</div>

Unfortunately you can't replace the video stream of an uploaded
youtube video. To upload a corrected video would create an
entirely different url, and then confusion ensues. The algorithm
doesn't like that. All hail the algorithm! <br>
<br>
Most youtube creators will create a separate corrections video
if really needed. The managers of the DPRG channel can trim out
some portions of an existing video using the limited online
editor, but they can't add new content. Most creators will
insert "cards" - the dynamic overlays that you can add to a
video at specific time offsets. Again, whoever runs the DRPG
account would have to do that. Otherwise you're stuck with
updating the description and title.

Yeah, something like that. I'd prefer to edit the original
video and <br>
have it reposted, if that's possible. I could also include a
couple of <br>
new slides that answer questions like Pat's that I've received
since the <br>
presentation. Maybe even replace those jerky videos with the
real <br>
thing, just keep the audio of my voice over.<br>

And another thing!<br>

cheers<br>
