<div>I have a Ryobi RY401015 mower. It has not one, but
two 6 Ahr batteries. Both batteries can be inserted
into the mower, but only one is used at a time
(selected by inserting a "start key" in one of two
positions -- it's really just a shunt). The
advertised 70 minute mowing time comes from depleting
one battery, then the other. So one battery only gets
you about 30 minutes mowing time under average
conditions. Mowing time decreases with grass height
and use of the self-propelled feature.<br>

hp) I initially estimated. However
they sell the batteries in terms of
40V/2A, 40V/4A, 40V/6A, so I think my
original assumption that the "A" value
is really Ahr is likely correct. Have
you ever owned a battery power mower?
I know the Ryobi mowers use brushless
motors and very thin light weight
cutting blades. Would you share
the wattage or volt/amp values from
your mower's faceplate? It would be
interesting to know what values to
expect. </div>
