[Dprglist] Reminder: Expiring survey for DPRG monthly meeting Day / Time

DPRG folk - this is a reminder that the survey of DPRG members' preferred
day and time to hold our monthly meeting will expire on Monday. On Monday
we will tally responses and pick the new meeting day and time and announce
the date of the March meeting. This survey is the opportunity for club
members to express standing conflicts or preferences and influence the
choice. The leading candidate (by a vote of 1) is currently the Third
Thursday of the month at 10am.

If you can't find the the survey, or feel you should have received one but
didn't, please let me know - you can reply to the list or email me at
paul.bouchier at gmail.com. If you're a new or renewing member and want the
survey, please email me directly so I can get it out to you promptly.

Subject: DPRG monthly meeting resumes - Day / Time Survey

DPRG folk - based on feedback from members at the annual meeting last
Saturday, we will be resuming monthly in-person meetings. The board is
considering changing the time and/or which Saturday we will meet at Dallas
Makerspace. This will be a return to the pre-covid practice of in-person
meetings centered around a topic or activity, but with support for our
remote attendees. I will be sending a survey to all DPRG
members-in-good-standing asking for their meeting-time preferences and we
will tally responses next Monday Feb 19.

TL;DR: We want to hold meetings in the North entry meeting room of Dallas
Makerspace - it's better for us - easier to get members and visitors into
the facility. Doing so requires we move the meeting time or date to avoid
standing conflicts. Since time immemorial, DPRG meetings were on the second
Saturday of the month, at noon. We propose to change that.
