Dave and John,
I saw this post on Hackaday.com detailing a small CNC router build. It is
similar to the small routers you have, but homemade. I thought you might be
interested in it. You may be able to borrow some ideas on how to add
rigidity to your routers. He shows examples of milling Al (slowly).
