Ron,
     Sounds good. The reason for making the theme building the club robot is I want anyone working on it to have a chance to ask one on one questions, have a time to make some progress (or get started <grin>), and determine if any parts are bad or have gone missing. 

     For example Mike has told me that he had an issue with one of his encoders, so I hope to fix it at the meet up, and show how to run the example code to test the motors and encoders. 

      Additional projects will make for a more interesting meet up. Everyone is welcome.

Hello Doug / All,

I think some of us will bring other past/present projects for general RBNO type meeting.
I hope that will work out.  I brought that up that the club meeting, and did not hear a protest from you.
In fact, you were _very_ quiet.

Anyway, I see it as an opportunity to meet some of the members of the Lab and hope there will be mutual benefits for both organizations.
Of course, fabulous, working on building robots is a very good theme.

I know that Dave Ackley was going to bring his CNC engraver to show what he is doing with using it to create printed circuit boards. 
I suppose we could mount it to a club robot platform.  A robot that could actually make something while running in a contest. Now, that would be cool.

I was going to demo a really complex project involving a PI3, an LED and a video camera to find out if there really is that much latency in the time to acquire a frame of video and process it. It looked like Dave Anderson thought so at the meeting...
