If you are planning to get a K40 laser cutter, make sure you get one with a
M2 Nano controller board instead of a Moshi board. There is a open source
software package that is compatible with the M2 Nano board called "K40
Whisperer" that looks like it would be relatively easy to use with Inkscape.
