Carl Ott will discuss status and preparations for his attempt to be the
first to conquer the DPRG Line Follower Challenge Course.
You'll see:

* a demo of a virtual robot which is currently making it partway around a
virtual course
* the projects' high level architecture, which is node.js and computer
vision based
* interesting findings and implications for node.js & javascript

Carl Ott will be covering some work he is doing with node.js and javascript
from a novice point of view. He will give progress update on his line
following robot/simulator, and share insights gathered so far.

In Carl's own words
"
For those not familiar with this increasingly epic journey, I'm working
towards a physical robot to conquer the DPRG challenge level line following
course, which nobody in the club has done yet.
You can read more about that here

My robot will be based on node.js / javascript and computer vision using a
CV software called RoboRealm. And I'm developing algorithms for the
physical robot using a custom simulator of both robot and line following
course.

Hope to see you there...
