Well, it's curious to note that just in the time I've owned my Makita
power tools the maximum size of their largest capacity 18 volt battery
has doubled, from 3.0Ah to 6.0Ah, but the weight has only gone from
604g to 668g, with the overall size (at least of the outer case)
remaining the same. So we're clearly seeing significant advances in
battery technology just within a few years, just within the Makita
power tool batteries.

No more heavy lead acid batteries in our robots?
